1. Chemotherapy
Dan paces along the corridor, waiting for his turn into the room. This room is filled with equipments that any tough guy, like Dan, will be defeated. The sight of the ladies in white uniform causes a short prickling sensation all over his trembling body.
“Dan, it’s your turn now.”
2. Moonlight
It’s yet another night in this street. Mr Tan, as usual, holds a bottle of alcohol in his hand, roaming the streets. There, at the alley, a familiar face freshens him. His eyes trace the contours of her body. Smashing the bottle in his hands, he follows up the staircase.
3. Last
The cigarette in between his fingers is diminishing. The silent hall. The clear thumping sound of his heart. He senses it, as the thumping sound goes slower and slower, softer and softer. That’s it. He can’t keep up anymore. Peacefully, both his arms fall to the sides of the sofa.
4. Nameless
Natalie’s hands are sweating.
“I have a new sister.” She mumbles to herself.
Her mind is focused on getting a name for her sister.
Her sister’s cries have stopped.
“Natasha.. Kimberly..” She mumbles to herself as she walks into her sister’s room.
There, the newborn baby’s breathing has stopped.
“Eunice.. Stephanie..”
5. A sign
The buses are packed and travelling at a speed of a tortoise. The trains stop at every station for at least two minutes. It seems like a slow and lazy day for everyone, especially for Zoe.
“Could it be the end of the world since everything is moving at an abnormal speed?”

Here we go. You’re experimenting with new ideas. You’re challenging your readers with unique characters and interesting visual design. You have trouble controlling your English (why so many unnecessary ‘ing’ verbs), but it feels so minor in comparison to the creative ideas you’re working with.
